Channeling summer over here with this one, guys! Long time friends, you may remember back when we shared Julia + Dusty of Gunn & Swain‘s little man Gram’s first birthday bash. Well, apparently lots of time has passed because this little dude is now 3, and a big bro. Being a transition time for him, they wanted to make it extra special, but manageable for a mama with baby #2 due three weeks before the birthday. Thanks to Taryn Kent, we’ve got a big set of photos to share.

Fun signage from Studio BDR, huh?

Jacquelyn of Beijos Events helped Julia put together a moodboard and gather inspo for the party, and Julia got to work on all the fun little details before baby arrived.

Julia says, The day of the party, everything was ready and we just had to set up the backyard and have a few of his best buds over. Before it got dark, the kids all played in the yard and snacked on a giant pizza we ordered. No party at our house is complete without a run on the halfpipe so some of the kids got up there to shred.

This lucky kiddo has a grandpa who owns a guitar shop, so all his rockstar birthday wishes came true, too!

And Dusty, owner of Rael Made created this super rad little snack shack so he could serve up popcorn to all the party peeps.

Once it got dark, everyone grabbed their goodie bags and got to work making s’mores, putting on tattoos, and making glow stick bracelets, and snuggled up next to the big screen made by dad. Sounds like fun times all around! Happy birthday, big bro!
