When your papa is an avid skater, it’s pretty likely that you’re going to love it too. Which is exactly the case for little Gram, whose parents Julia and Dusty, have a pretty rad skate ramp in their backyard. Naturally Gram’s first birthday was a skate party. And kind of perfect for Cinco de Mayo too!

Summer can’t come soon enough, right?

Dusty is a wood worker who does lots of work for Yeah Rentals, and built this ramp with the help of a friend who specializes in professional-quality skate ramps. It’s super legit.

Um, also, can we talk about their backyard?! It’s like a park!

Gram’s favorite food is fruit so they had a table full of fruit set up plus watermelon agua fresca and horchata served in The Hostess Haven‘s gorgeous brass-detailed beverage dispensers. They also had a taco cart set up in the front yard so everyone got to snack on tacos made with homemade tortillas and loads of fresh Mexican fixin’s. It pays to live so close to the border!

They also had their friend Hannah of Hannah’s Bananas make coconut & rainbow sprinkle chocolate dipped frozen bananas. Bet those were gobbled up in 4 mintues flat!

Naturally they used Gunn & Swain Mexican blankets EVERYWHERE.
