This little shoot by Designs by Yu just screams summer. It’s a styled shoot but it’s full of fun summer details for an upcoming birthday, don’t you think? Kind of has a nice 4th of July vibe too, in case some of you are planning a party for next weekend.

Wildflowers and a naked cake always rank high on our list of summer necessities.

And lots of fun activities and gags to keep the kiddos entertained. Car races are such a fun idea!

Sunny, Summer Styled Maternity Shoot by Lindsey Mueller and The Confetti Committee

This gorgeous mama had the idea to do a full-on styled maternity shoot to announce her baby’s name to their family and friends. We’re kind of glad she did and that Lindsey Mueller and The Confetti Committee came together to style and photograph it. There are so many cute ideas here for a baby shower or birthday party too!

Isn’t that mobile made from painted blocks the best? Sure hope they hang it in Baby Sonny’s room.

His super sweet name guided the direction of the shoot. Lots of bright colors and sunny details!

That paper installation is amazing. So perfect for an announcement like this!

An afternoon picnic playdate for best friends

Bridgette and Brianne are cousins, best friends, and born only 3 weeks apart. Jubilee, mom to Bridgette, and Gloria styled this adorable afternoon playdate for the two of them, shot masterfully by the extra talented Lisa Lefkowitz. They included all of the girls’ favorite things… dress up, sharing sweets, and bright, fashionable colors. Looks like they had the best time.
