We’re obsessed with these simple, natural spider web crafts that the lovely ladies of Home With Her created last year. They’re so good that we had to repost them here for you. Super simple and kind of lovely, even if you’re not so into the Halloween Decors. And easy enough that even little hands can enjoy creating their own.

SUPPLIES

• White yarn (we chose a thick, gauzy textured yarn found at Michaels Crafts)
• Branches (cut down to similar sizes)
• Plastic spiders

INSTRUCTIONS

• Cross all the branches.
• Begin to wrap the yarn around the cross (using a figure 8 design works best).
• Once the center is stable and set, begin wrapping the yarn around each stick moving in a circle.
• Randomly reverse the direction or the switch to loop the yarn under the branch instead of over. Really anything and everything goes here to create a more realistic look.

Once finished, tie a knot and leave enough string to hang.

Who is already feeling behind on Halloween? We certainly are. It’s the second week of October, mamas, which means it’s time to kick the Halloween prep into high gear. The ladies of Beijos planned this sweet costume playdate in the woods of Northern California for their kiddos and some friends. It’s lovely inspiration for your own Halloween party and take note of the costumes… they’re all from Pottery Barn Kids (most are even on sale!) and available for purchase right here.

Love those leafy treat bags. A small gathering on Halloween is such a nice idea, especially for the littlest kids when the fun of roaming around in the dark and getting candy from the neighbors is going to be totally lost on them.

This little gal is like “ROCK-TOBER forever”!

Freshly Picked mocs go with pretty much every costume idea.

This cute footprint craft idea doubles as sweet keepsake. Plus parties are just more fun with an activity, right?

Hello Cakelets! Liam and I popped by Crafting Community at the Ace Hotel this year. Sadly, we couldn’t stay for the whole event but we wanted to share a few of our favorite crafts. Liam loved making the balloon boat and gods eye wall hanging. If we had stayed longer it would of been so great to check out Whitney’s underwater photography workshop and Justina Blakeney’s foliage sun prints station. So many amazing crafts to do with your kids. We couldn’t think of a better way to bond as a family.

Um, these cookies… HAWT!

They had fun coloring pages made by Twinkle and Toast where kids could draw pictures of them with their mamas, make heart crowns and heart wands, or swords.
