Suppose since Labor Day has officially come and gone, it’s time to start thinking about all of the goodness that comes with fall. Here in Southern California it’s still sunny and warm, but we’re betting that up north in BC the days are cooling off and fall is setting in. Sounds dreamy. This cute back to school shoot by Cindy of Confetti Sparkle and Kristina of The Swank Social makes us pretty excited for cider and pie and sweaters and chilly mornings and (dare we say it?) costumes.

An apple orchard is a pretty perfect setting, huh?

They picked up all of the flowers from a roadside stand for $2.00 a bunch. Such a cute way to decorate any festive event.

Tutu and Teepee shoot by Bella in Bloom

This sweet shoot dreamed up by Bella in Bloom, an Australian floral design studio, is pretty perfect inspiration for girl’s party this summer or fall. Full of native Australian flowers, a ribbon teepee, and tutus, it pretty much hits all the marks, dontcha think? It was inspired by the Snugglepot and Cuddlepie books that are popular down under, but even if you’re not familiar with them, we’re pretty sure you’re going to love it anyway.

The flowers are just insane, as are the little crowns worn by Bellana and Madeline.

Soooooo pretty. Makes us want to order our own copies of the adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie immediately!

Bohemian Thanksgiving table by Beijos Events

Should you be on the lookout for some last minute Thanksgiving tablescape ideas, this beauty, from the ladies of Beijos Events will definitely do the trick. It’s a little boho, a whole lot cozy, and looks like the prettiest way to spend the evening wining and dining.

Love the seating arrangement happening here. Dining on pillows, atop layered Witty Rentals rugs– it kind of doesn’t get cozier than that. Perfect for a Friendsgiving gathering, for sure!

Can we just talk about that floral table runner centerpiece arranged by MV Florals? Silver dollar eucalyptus is where it’s at this season.

This is exactly the type of table we can see ourselves sitting at with our girlfriends, until the wee hours of the night. Thanks for the gorgeous inspiration ladies!

Christmas cookie decorating for kids from Sweetest Celebrations

The holiday season is the best time for kids. Writing letters to Santa, baking him cookies, being surrounded by tempting sweets, and obviously, opening pressies. Haydee of Sweetest Celebrations, can’t help but get into the holiday spirit. Her twin daughters were actually born so close to Christmas, so every birthday party is an opportunity to jolly things up. This year she designed the most adorable mint & red cookie decorating sesh for her daughters + best friend that we think any little would enjoy.

These vintage china pieces from Love in Vintage are so pretty!

Santa’s definitely going to favor the cookie with every topping on it, right?

Lucky gals that get to celebrate their birthday’s and Christmas so close together! Jillian’s little Liam is also a December bebe and will be celebrating his birthday this weekend too. Can’t wait to share those photos next week!

End of summer craft party with kids

Yes, technically Labor Day has passed, but in Southern California we’ve still got a solid month or two of summer weather ahead. The ladies of Beijos Events planned this fun craft day to celebrate the end of the season – at least calendrically – and it has all the makings of a great afternoon for moms and kids. Meaning things kids can do that keep them entertained so the moms can enjoy a drink and catch-up session. Are you with us?!

And we love this even more as we gear up for Crafting Community next month in Palm Springs. Fruit prints are such an easy craft that even toddlers can explore and enjoy. All you need is fruit, paint, paper… and a hose.

Um, Moscow Mule in appropriate cup? Always a yes.

Modern Pop, a new popsicle line from Laguna Beach, provided their delicious all-fruit treats to keep the kids cool and entertained on a hot day.

Here’s where it gets good.

Yes! There is nothing more excellent than letting kids get messy and crafty. Even if the clean up can be intense. That’s what hoses are for, after all.

What do we think? Will the name bracelet replace the name necklace for moms? Like the idea, that’s for sure!
