Yes, technically Labor Day has passed, but in Southern California we’ve still got a solid month or two of summer weather ahead. The ladies of Beijos Events planned this fun craft day to celebrate the end of the season – at least calendrically – and it has all the makings of a great afternoon for moms and kids. Meaning things kids can do that keep them entertained so the moms can enjoy a drink and catch-up session. Are you with us?!

And we love this even more as we gear up for Crafting Community next month in Palm Springs. Fruit prints are such an easy craft that even toddlers can explore and enjoy. All you need is fruit, paint, paper… and a hose.

Modern Pop, a new popsicle line from Laguna Beach, provided their delicious all-fruit treats to keep the kids cool and entertained on a hot day.

Yes! There is nothing more excellent than letting kids get messy and crafty. Even if the clean up can be intense. That’s what hoses are for, after all.

What do we think? Will the name bracelet replace the name necklace for moms? Like the idea, that’s for sure!
