Mamas, how pretty is this spring birthday cake? This floral, French picnic birthday party comes to us from creative mama Alexandra Joy Wig in honor of her sweet girl Clover’s 5^th. They hosted it in a pretty loft space called The Wedding Study in Calgary with all her friends and fam. More lovely photos by Justine Milton, below!

We never say no to a spread of Parisian desserts. Clover’s papa even made the cream puffs!

The picnic baskets for the kiddos included croissants, fresh fruit, and yogurt.

Guests were asked to wear stripes or florals to the party.

Alexandra designed the florals and flower crown.

Another fun detail: Clover and her mama shopped for goodie bag treats from a local French market. They each had French candy and cookies, toy Eiffel towers and moustaches, and mini canvases and paint sets.

BTW, the cake is from Pretty Sweet Bakeshop and it’s buttercream. Yuuum.

The floral arranging activity was a special request from Clover… A girl after our own hearts!
