“Kidchella” themed double birthday for Amanda Stanton’s girls

If you’ve got a double birthday on the books, it’s no secret that you pretty much *have* to go all out. (Twice the fun, right?) But if you’ve got a double birthday AND a super cool theme like “Kidchella” on the mind, then you’ve really committed yourself to taking things up, oh, about a million notches. With such an epic theme, mama Amanda Stanton knew she wanted to go all out, so a combined birthday for her two littles, turning four and six, was in order. She enlisted Events by Talissa to help bring in all things festival-inspired, from boho braids to flower crowns to a DJ and photo bus—all captured by Alicia Mink Photography in honor of sweet Kinsley + Charlie:

Kidchella’s gotta have a stage, obviously!

Talissa of Events by Talissa says, I knew I wanted it to feel like a real festival and wanted to make sure we made it fun for the adults as well as the children. As guests arrived, they were able to check in at the VIP station to receive their bracelet, aviators and goodies for the day. We worked with TBD San Diego to design the adult lounges which really allowed for great seating and amazing photo ops! We got the best KidChella stage from Teak and Lace and that set the tone for the entire event. The birthday girl Kinsley planned a performance and took the stage alongside her BFFs.
