As we say farewell to another beautiful week here on planet earth, it is with the heaviest of hearts that we also say goodbye to an extraordinary woman, mother, friend, and creative member of our community. As many of you may know, Tori Hendrix has been battling a rare form of cancer for the past year. To say that we are devastated that her fight has come to an end is a wild and tragic understatement.

Today we hope you join us in quietly honoring this beautiful person and the influence she has had on those who knew her personally and those who were touched by her presence as a creative, generous person in this industry and beyond. Her work and her family have appeared so many times on Cakelet over the last three years. Her unique spirit and style have been and will always be an integral part of our small community, and an inspiration to so many mamas out there. There aren’t words to adequately express the loss that her family and friends and colleagues feel. Her gorgeous babies, her amazing husband Austin, her sister and parents.
