Hello, Cakelets! We’re so excited to announce Jillian (aka co-founder + real weddings editor of 100 Layer Cake) and her husband Scott are expecting their 2nd child this Summer. She thought she’d pop over and share a bit of her experience thus far.

Scott and I are thrilled to share a bit of our baby journey with you. Our son Liam is 5yrs old. I always knew I wanted 2 kids but as Liam got older, and we struggled with having a second, I started to become satisfied that we’d be this perfect lil trio. Late last year, I found out the reason we weren’t conceiving was because I had polyps on my uterus. Once I had them removed, 3 months later, to our utter amazement we became pregnant. Our baby boy is due August 1st. He’s our little miracle baby.

I’m currently 17 weeks, but I feel like I’m at 20 weeks. They say everything happens sooner the second time around, and they weren’t kidding. Before I knew it I couldn’t fit into any of my jeans or shirts. Below are a few things I’ve purchased to help be through the “growing” pains.
