Morning, mamas! We’ve got the sweetest, most charming little birthday breakfast party coming to us from mama Lola Jones Photography, of her twin girls turning four. (You’ll want to follow this cute fam’s adventures over on insta, once you’ve peeped these photos, they’re so good.) She outfitted their already adorable abode with a festive scene full of balloons, confetti, sweets, and surprises.

This delectable cake from Hispi was filled with génoise layers and chocolate mousse, topped with dark chocolate glaze and honeycomb pieces.

Morning, friends! Anyone have a 1st birthday on the books? This thoughtful party comes complete with tips on planning your own at-home 1st birthday, from mama and event planner, Sarah Schmidt. After perusing all the photos Amy Melissa Photo captured, be sure to check out Sarah’s shopping list and budget at the end of this post. So helpful for us mamas planning parties! Who better than a mama of twins to give us the scoop, right?

As you can imagine, the two biggest investments for Sarah’s twins’ 1st birthday were photography and desserts. Daddy Cakes Bakery whipped up the cake, cupcakes, and macarons.

Sarah says, I saved money by only paying for one professional flower arrangement and doing the others myself; by using some vases and cake stands I already had; by cooking our own barbecue rather than having the party catered; by installing the florals and doing all decorating ourselves; and, of course, by having it at home!

Can’t forget a birthday outfit for the twins!

There’s no way you’ll walk away without a sweet tooth after this one, just warning ya now. Tessa of Starling Studio went with a colorful confetti theme for her twin girls’ 2nd birthdays since they take after their mama and totally light up at the sight of sprinkle covered treats. What better way to celebrate than with six pounds of sprinkles, right?! Let’s start with the cake…

Tessa’s mom, owner of Sweetie Girls Treatery, whipped up all the sprinkly goodness. Think we know where the family sweet tooth comes from!

This crew really dreamt up every confetti-covered treat under the sun, huh?

Tessa also created a sprinkle-themed backdrop for the wall with balloons and added dessert tags to all the treats.

DIY cupcake time! These little paint palettes make the perfect sprinkle station.

Maya and Chloe’s mama is from Moscow, so even though they live in the UK they celebrated there at this loft studio. But they made sure to incorporate some local UK details like these treats from Meringue Girls + Ottolenghi lollys.

We thought this whimsical, festive twin birthday party would be a welcome site as we head into the final days of holiday time for the year. There’s just something about plaid and pines and TWO babies that makes us smile every time. Mama Ashley of Henry Photography planned this fun gathering for her boys and it looks like a really perfect family party for this time of year.

Those cookies get the award for best color. Also, twin monogram on plaid?!
