We’re completely smitten with this Korean Dol shoot Mia Jang of Story by Mia sent our way. The photos are absolutely stunning, and Mia was also behind the gorgeous florals including lots of mega peonies and luscious greenery. And wait till you see little dolly Scarlet outfitted in her traditional birthday style!

Eeeeek! Such beautiful flowers, and the most lovely fine art photos of them.

Bakes by Marie whipped up Scarlet’s birthday cake and donuts. Her insta has the prettiest cakes and displays!

Okay, so this cutie!? The inspiration for it all! Their color palette was a little ode to her name, Scarlet.

Those cheekies!! Her traditional hanbok matched all the lovely details.

Gosh, mamas, these photos. Our hearts are so very full!

Jessica of Blushing Joy Events dreamt the whole thing up over at Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa in the Bay Area.

We sure love a party theme that can inspire a few other gatherings along the way, like a baby shower or spring brunch. This 1^st birthday Korean Dol styled by Pretty Little Events comes complete with an urban garden theme that can inspire all that + more, and the most creative, feminine dessert ideas to go along with it. Loveliest macarons…

Cafe Pinot in DTLA provided the perfect landscape to bring in elements of feminine and floral to create a soft and girlie garden oasis to welcome guests. Sweetleemade provided a blush peach fondant cake with delicate sugar flowers and macaron towers. Sweet Florie Cake hand piped florals made entirely of rice and bean paste onto rice cakes.

There was also a lounge area for guests when not indulging in all those yummy treats.

The party also featured a milkshake bar with the season’s berries and fruit along with a taco bar, poutine station and burger bar. Yum!

Hello, friends! Is anyone even a little bit surprised that we’ve chosen to spend one of the very last days of May poring over a super cheerful ‘sunshine’ themed birthday and Korean Dol for Avery? All the sunny days, please! Alison Bernier was behind the lens for this sweet celebration, as designed by Theresa Lee Events at FLDWRK Fullerton here in SoCal.

Something about June on the horizon that just makes us fall in love with all things yellow, ya know?
