Ahhh, letterpress invitations. We talk about them plenty on our wedding blog, but now that parents are putting more time into their kid’s birthday parties and baby showers, we thought why not talk about them here for a sec? Australian modern design studio, Lion and the Huntsman (sister company to Zed & Bee), just launched; and well, their super fun, easy to fill in letterpress party invites totally caught our eye.

“As gorgeous as custom designed speciality invitations are, not everyone has the budget to spoil their tot with such a luxurious party introduction. So we set ourselves a challenge, to produce quick to buy, easy to fill in invitations, using specialty print processes at a fraction of the cost.”

But seriously, how fun are their designs? They’re mailed to you in a cute little box, and all you need to do is to fill them in and mail out!

Custom holiday cards from Eclectic Press

It takes time to pick out the perfect holiday card, doesn’t it? You want to find the one that’s going to show off your favorite family portrait, stands out from all the others, is modern, and is just beautifully designed. Before you go diving into world of holiday card designs, take a look at these. Eclectic Press is the fabulous paper biz of Dallas creative, and mom, Viv Jordan.

This holiday line is filled with whimsical hand lettering touches mixed with clean minimal design, so we’re obviously fans.

One of Viv’s favorite things about the holiday line is the two backer designs that offers an additional opportunity to showcase a photo. You can either write a fun note to your recipients, or choose to share five highlights from your previous year.

Holiday cards, photo albums and personal gifts from Pinhole Press

This year our friends at Pinhole Press asked us if we’d like to make our holiday cards and family photo albums using their simple, modern templates. We jumped at the chance since 1) we love Pinhole Press and have used them many times before for various projects and 2) loved the idea of being forced to knock out our holiday cards early enough to share them with all of you!

Have any of you made something on their site before? It’s amazingly fast and easy, they have an impressive catalog of photo products, and people (ahem, grandparents) love receiving these keepsakes as gifts.

Kristina and Jillian each made a few photo albums and their family holiday cards. The quality is so lovely and it’s so incredibly satisfying to have collected photos from each year into one beautiful album.

We tried out both the signature and panoramic photo albums and they’re both really nice. The lay-flat addition to the panoramic is a really nice touch, we have to say.

Love the edge detail on the ultrathick photo cards.

In addition to their albums, (the small ones are great for gifts!), we love their photo notepads, baby milestone books, and how great would this wall decal set be for printing instagram photos?!
