Mamas, this baby shower by RMBO Collective and Rachel Havel has the loveliest color palette and decor. It was all inspired by a modern day high tea with lots of fun surprise elements that friends Jaimi and Jennifer hosted for mama-to-be Janel of Fiore Beauty (remember when we shared her Paris elopement?) at a gorgy LA home. They even used Jaimi’s incredible vintage china collection (it’s soooo good!) for an extra unique tablescape:

Perfectly complemented by all of borrowed BLU‘s tabletop essentials.

If you know Janel, you know she’s got impeccable style, so all her gals wanted to make sure she had a day to match!

Delicate mini sandwiches and desserts from Whoa Nelly and delicious teas were served alongside celebratory champagne and sparkling cocktails with homemade shrub mixers. Prettiest finger foods ever!

State of Grace Healing was there with her essential oil blending station to bring positive vibes to Janel and co. Everyone loved blending their own crystal-infused custom scents.

Told ya this mama has style!

And did we mention the baby animals? Piglets, bunnies, guinea pigs, alpacas and goats all made an appearance at the party, thanks to Farm Friendz. Now this was a HIT.

Our Amanda was there to shower Janel, too.

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve talked baby showers here on the blog, which is basically years in Cakelet speak! But The Revelry Co and their creative partner Black Twine sent over this boho baby shower, with the sweetest Southwest twist, and now we’re feeling beyond ready for a May full of showers (wait… wasn’t that supposed to be April? *wink*). Anyway! They made it all happen for mama and talented photog, Jenny, who runs Custock Photography with her hubs Chad, as they celebrate baby no #4!

From the team at The Revelry Co, Jenny has a killer eye for design and reflects a cool southwestern swag about her. We knew we had to incorporate that into the party! We created the custom theme, “stay wild my child” around a laid back boho chic vibe with subtle accents of Southwest culture. We were inspired by earth tones, black and white mud cloth print, and pops of copper to create this modern twist on boho western.

Did we mention that Jenny’s parents live on a beautiful ranch in Northern California? Sure made finding a backdrop for this shower easy!

Morning, mamas! Did you hear the news? Our new Los Angeles event space Festoon is officially open for baby showers, birthdays, holiday parties, and so much more! And today we have a perfect example of just how pretty a party at Festoon can be, with this wintery baby shower Sterling Social whipped up for one of their own, mama-to-be, Caroline. More deets as captured by Scott Clark Photo when you keep scrolling!

Isn’t this plate the prettiest? The Ark‘s tabletop collection sure is lovely.

They went with the “one love, one heart” lyric which is a fave song of Caroline’s.

We envisioned many a beautiful gathering around this fun bar of ours… Mega happy to see it in action.

Found Rentals & Theoni Collection provided the pillows and fur textures throughout. Love the added bit of cozy!

Happy Thursday, all! Doesn’t a baby shower in the Italian countryside sound like the dreamiest way to celebrate the forthcoming arrival of baby #2?! Mama and stylist Hannah took that idea and made it all happen here in California, at a dear friend’s venue, Two Sisters Farms in Temecula. AKA the ultimate spot to channel *alllll* the Tuscan vibes. See how to pull off a baby shower like Hannah’s in the photos from Selcouth Creative below!

Mama Hannah of Hannah Renee Blog tells it, For our second baby boy, I knew right away that I wanted to host an intimate celebration with my closest friends and family. Less of a shower and more of a thank you to the women in my life who support me and my family. I wanted it to feel like a gathering in honor of these memories of carrying and welcoming this little babe. Good conversation, wine, and hearty breads and cheeses was my not-so-typical idea of a baby celebration. My good friend is the owner of Two Sisters Farms and I knew it would be the perfect backdrop to a beautiful dinner party. The vision really was inspired by Tuscany dinner parties with a charming, rustic vibe. It’s one of those bucket list destinations that I wanted to recreate close to home. I dreamed of neutrals and romantic textures mixed with hearty foods and good company. 

For the dessert and drinks, Hannah displayed the cake and homemade fresh berry galettes (a la her own mama) on the Whiskey & Wildflowers trailer bar. Bonus, it also created the cutest backdrop to their family-style Italian tablescape.

Since their boy’s name will be Oliver, olives and olive oil tasting were in order. They set up a tasting bar with Temecula Olive Oil for guests to gather around when they got to the venue.

We toasted wine, discussed motherhood and how it changes you, shared previous birth stories, and laughed till the sun was well behind the hills. The evening felt like it went by too fast so when I received these gorgeous images from Selcouth Creative I got to relive the whole thing over again. What a dream and I’m so grateful to the amazing team of talented women who helped pull it together and make my vision a reality I get to cherish forever.  

Emily Pine of The Fern & Flower created arrangements with neutral florals, artichokes, limes, olive branch, and other unexpected elements.

We gush over our share of pretty pink and blue baby showers around here, but there are zillions of baby shower themes out there and when you’ve spent your pregnancy lovingly referring to your little bun in the oven as “baby burger”, you’re bound to go a different route! This burger-themed baby shower was thrown for paper designer Amber Moon, by her creative community here in LA—Sarah Cowperthwaite, Anne Robin, and lots of other talented pals. Courtney Lindberg Photography shared all the delicious snaps below!

Good puns are obviously a must for any baby shower nowadays, and good bun puns at that.

As is a bit of parenting advice for the couple welcoming babe.

Anne Robin Calligraphy + Design came up with the most fun burger invite design around for their forthcoming bebe.

Naturally they had Sun of A Bun cater the party.
