Baby showers at Festoon are quickly becoming some of our very fave affairs, especially those of the pretty pastel variety, a la our friend Robin of RMBO Collective. She whipped up a dreamy gender neutral baby shower to complement mama-to-be Heather’s laid back California boho style, complete with all the positive vibes. Thanks to Emily Jane Photography for capturing this beautiful afternoon!

RMBO Collective says, Festoon LA was the perfect blank slate space with amazing natural light for this afternoon event. We used a neutral palette mixed with pastel crystal tones and organic greens. A variety of crystals and Palo Santo wood were used as decor and ensured that the good vibes were flowing throughout the whole event space. Graphic printed swaddle blankets were chosen for the table runners and could be repurposed as a baby gift for the mama to be. 

Super gorg setup, check!

This sweet little baby boy, who we lovingly refer to as Little 6 because he will be the sixth of his name—Edwin Warwick Miller, VI—has already had a cocktail named after him: the Little Sixer Spritzer! We printed his nickname on cocktail napkins and glassware for an extra special personalized touch. 

Mildly obsessed with all the vessels RMBO Collective‘s florals were arranged in.

Guests snacked on grazing boards from Just Add Wine LA and bites from Lodge Bread Company.

Heather’s baby shower was all about positive, welcoming vibes for this beloved mama and her baby boy. Some of her best friends, Joanne, Jules, Morgan, Bridgett and Robin, hosted the gathering of 30 guests for an afternoon of laid back pampering, bites and positive energy. 

They also had a onesie decorating station and guests went home with candle favors that, once melted down revealed a hidden crystal inside! See more details in our inspiration gallery:

Morning, mamas! How adorable is this fringey pastel install from Fire and Crème, on display at Festoon LA? Talented mama Denise Vasi enlisted them to create mermaid magic for her little girl Lennox Mae’s 4th, as per her request to spend the day crafting and dancing with all her best girl friends. Who knew this bar would be the perfect spot for a mermaid theme?

Would you believe this mermaid birthday cake is gluten free and vegan? Yvonne’s Vegan Kitchen is the real deal!

All the little mermaids adorned their tails with letters and sequins and foam stickers.

Morning, mamas! Did you hear the news? Our new Los Angeles event space Festoon is officially open for baby showers, birthdays, holiday parties, and so much more! And today we have a perfect example of just how pretty a party at Festoon can be, with this wintery baby shower Sterling Social whipped up for one of their own, mama-to-be, Caroline. More deets as captured by Scott Clark Photo when you keep scrolling!

Isn’t this plate the prettiest? The Ark‘s tabletop collection sure is lovely.

They went with the “one love, one heart” lyric which is a fave song of Caroline’s.

We envisioned many a beautiful gathering around this fun bar of ours… Mega happy to see it in action.

Found Rentals & Theoni Collection provided the pillows and fur textures throughout. Love the added bit of cozy!

And isn’t it nice to see the space all spruced up with florals and decor from JL Designs & Events?

Remember last week when we went on and on about all our fave earth tone decor ideas? Today we get to soak up some of those pretty neutral vibes we’ve been dreaming of, thanks to our studio mate and friend Natalie of Veneer Designs, who’s sharing her little girl’s room design with us. And as gorgeously modern as it looks in these photos from Phoebe Joy, it’s actually full of easy, affordable pieces like this rattan chair (an Anthro find!) and an incredible Ikea bunkbed:

The bed is the Ikea Kura reversible bed. It’s so versatile and grows with your littles.

Mildly obsessed with this rainbow wall hanging too.

These black and white chairs are actually chrome Zuo Wire chairs (available right here) spray painted black + white!

And that little moon garland above the bed is only $18 at Urban Outfitters. Hello!
