Bright, festive “Lola Dutch” inspired 1st birthday party
Hiya, mamas! Any of you with littles that love the story of Lola Dutch? Elizabeth Mae and her mama, owner of shop and venue Love of Character sure do, and E’s 1st birthday party and cake smash inspired by this most festive character also happens to be quite perfect for the holiday season, if you ask us. Not to mention it comes right before the much-anticipated launch of book #2. Thanks to Sally Cavanaugh for capturing these cutie photos!
In the book, Lola lives in a pink apartment building in Paris with her fave animal friends. They dressed the birthday gal in red and pink and served cookies by Sweet Sugarlicious inspired by all the scenes in Lola’s world.
Très chic!
They set up the shop to look just like Lola’s dining room, all with decor from Love of Character, of course.
BTW, if you’re inspired to throw your bebe a Lola Dutch party, be sure to snag the printables from their resource page.
Hey, birthday cutie! Ready to smash some cake?
September Moon Cupcakery whipped up those adorable cupcakes above along with this petite smash cake.
Happy 1st birthday, little E!
