A fun little nursery rhyme seems an appropriate muse for a baby shower, dontcha think? This little quote, calligraphed by Double Dipped Calligraphy, is what inspired this helicopter-themed baby shower over at the massively pretty Hangar 21 in Orange County. Fawn Events planned and designed this sweet blue + white fête full of moon, stars, and cloud motifs. Thanks to Nola Fontanez for capturing all the thoughtful deets!

So, this adorable macrame moon whipped up by the talented Macramama… If you look close enough, you’ll see that it’s also a seating chart with shibori escort-stars hanging from the dip-dyed cord. More photos below!

This entire scene is pretty spectacular, isn’t it? Here’s the scoop: Vintage farm tables were dressed up with ghost chairs, white stoneware and vintage goblets, modern two-toned flatware, fluffy cloud runners, custom toffee favors wrapped in shibori napkins, and pops of floral & acrylic peeking through. If that wasn’t enough—a sky of balloon clouds and white star lights hung overhead. Three vintage lounges sat pretty in our cloudy-moon color palette, with an oversized blue velvet sofa, shibori pillows, modern mid-century accents, mixed metals, a blue and white babies breath chandelier, and the Hangar’s navy blue helicopter parked right outside—ready for its first passenger!

Everyone went crazy over this sweet macrame baby swing, also by Macramama.

Theresa of Sundrop Vintage Rentals (aren’t all of their vintage rentals throughout AMAZING?!) came up with the idea for a “momma cravings” station rather than a traditional dessert table—all repping her daughter—the mama-to-be—and her pregnancy cravings. The three cakes from Elise Cakes were designed for Dad, Mom, & Baby, and they had popsicles and a cotton candy cart (it’s a cloud theme after all!) too.

The Hello Penny mobile bar is the cutest way ever for guests to sip beer and bubbly, we think.

Can’t forget the moon backdrop from Paper Moon Shoppe for all the guests to snap pics in front of!
