Bright, festive cookie decorating party
Remember in October when we were ALL about adding a little pink to our Halloween festivities? It’s a bit easier to do during the holidays, but no less fun! In this bright, festive cookie decorating party Twinkle Twinkle Little Party styled (and photographed) with Black Twine‘s party blueprint, it’s all about pastel pink + mint decor, pretty sweets, and darling DIYs. They’re even sharing a cute reindeer cake tutorial + tips for those of you with your own cookie party on the books. See below…
You can find the instructions for this DIY balloon ornament centerpiece over on Oh Happy Day.
…Which the crew also adapted to 5″ balloons for the ornament garland over their dessert table.
And to achieve maximum cookie party cuteness, don’t forget to grab the DIY for this cake at the bottom of the post!
No surprise, all the party supplies like the reindeer cups and napkins can be found on Meri Meri.
Here’s the timeline, a la Black Twine’s holiday party blueprint:
A month before the event. Purchase all party décor supplies
Two days before the event. Bake cookies for decorating, order a chocolate buttercream cake for decorating (reindeer cake), and order plain cupcakes for decorating (reindeer noses)
A day before the event. Make the Christmas ornament balloons (garland and cookie table centerpiece) and decorate buttercream cake and cupcakes
On the day of the event, you’ll be assembling all your decor and putting it all together!
DIY Reindeer Cake
