When your little dolly’s fave weekend ritual is to visit a local donut shop with dad to enjoy a pink donut topped with pastel sprinkles, it comes to mind pretty quickly when planning birthday surprises. Olivia’s mama Anne took the theme and added just about every pretty little detail she could think of (so be sure to peep the credits below), with extra emphasis on this most glorious dessert spread. These charming lil’ donut invites are by Paper Built Shop.

Anne says, I created a pastel balloon arch filled with lavender, pale yellow, peach, light blue, mint green and pale pink balloons (of course) to frame the dessert bar. The desserts included an array of sweets—a strawberries and cream triple layer cake topped with pastel mini donuts and macaroons, an assortment of donuts with pastel frosting and sprinkles, donut + milk decorated sugar cookies and pastel meringues and confections. All the kids loved drinking milk out of the old-fashioned glass milk bottles topped with pastel sprinkles around the rim.

And to top it all off, they had a balloon artist there to make silly donut balloons and balloon animals.
