Disco pizza party 2nd birthday
Mamas, how perfect is this giant ’2′ balloon install inspired by Oh Happy Day’s ever popular DIY? More deets on that below, but first, we have to applaud mom and designer Emily of Feast & Festivities on the most epic disco themed pizza party these kiddos have ever seen. Kassandra Donaldson Photo captured all the magic for ya in the post:
Emily tells us, Enzo’s simple love for balloons, shiny things and pink really began the whole modern disco theme for his second birthday. Then we discovered a new restaurant in our neighborhood, Super Deluxe Pizzeria, with a unique green tile floor and amazing pizza, and I just knew the party had to be there. When it came down to details, I looked to fun brands like ban.do and Oh Happy Day for more inspiration.
Holograms and confetti, this crew is speaking our language! Gotta hand it to That First Spark on the stationery.
Guests were served beverages in holographic cups and disco ball tumblers. Some drinks were topped with cotton candy skewers and “party” script straws. Everything sparkled, right down to the delicious pizza, which was topped with edible metallic stars. The cake was custom made by Jenna Rae Cakes, with a fun cotton candy flavor. It was the highlight of Enzo’s birthday. Other treats included pizza slice shaped candy boxes with pizza slogans and cotton candy macarons from Jenna Rae Cakes.
Pink, blue, and holographic silver makes a pretty rad color palette, if you ask us!
Glitter and Glue Party Boxes was behind the epic ’2′ balloon number installation, if you can take your eyes off of that pizza and cake spread long enough to admire it.
Is there anyone more deserving of a cool disco pizza party than this kid? No way.
…As if we weren’t already drooling over this cake.
Nice work, Emily! Best wishes to Enzo.
