Morning, all! Even though Mama and photog Cathy Durig went with a modern, neutral nursery design for her little man Brooks, she had to include this vintage rocking horse that her own parents bought her as a babe. Always sweet to be able to include an heirloom piece or two in such a special space, right? For most everything else, she took to Restoration Hardware to achieve her two goals: simple + neutral. Neutral nurseries all the way!

The nursery had a subtle nautical travel theme as well. Most of the bigger pieces (as you can see in the credits at the bottom of the post) came from RH Baby & Child, but Cathy also scored those amazing hanging ships there too.

Not to mention, a neutral design is totally perfect for all you that aren’t super into the typical baby gear, ya know? Extra perfect if you plan on making a space babe can grow into like Cathy wanted for Brooks.
