One year family photos
This cozy family sesh Kaley from Kansas documented at one year of parenthood has us thinking about the little moments you don’t really think to capture in a photo shoot, but want to remember forever and ever… from the sweet space just made for spending the first year in, to baby gazing out the window. See more from mama Cheri, her fam, and their dwelling below:
Mama Cheri explains, I found the photo of me nursing Odin particularly special. When he was born (two months early) and spent several weeks in the NICU, I thought any chance of me being able to breastfeed him was lost and it was devastating. However, after a lot of patience, tears and practice, here we are one year later and still going strong.
Cute lil’ puff stitch sweater, huh?
Heart eyes for this sweet shelf and those 11 months lettered out.
Parenthood and having a small family of our own has been the best time of our lives. I’m glad that Kaley captured some of the small things (a hand on Odie’s back as we walk into the kitchen, Chad helping him down off the bed.) These are small details that can be forgotten and some you never see.
And outside we go…
All the teeniest moments, please.
