London’s Calling 1st birthday party
Happy Tuesday, friends! Did you catch yesterday’s ice cream + floral 1st birthday party? Here’s another incredible theme for ya: London’s calling. Hudson’s mama Jen of Amy and Jen Decor landed on this theme in order to give a little nod to his British heritage (which dad much appreciated!). Being part owner of a design + décor company, she planned out every little detail to make his day one for the books. Thanks to AMB Photo for sending this one our way!
The sweets table was the main event and the focal point was this London bus gifted from Hudson’s cousins in England.
Jen says, I always work with Anne-Marie of AMB Photo, not only is her photography stunning, she is a truly wonderful friend and our little dudes just happen to be the best of buddies. I had been a long-time fan of London based Emma Block Illustration and was beyond thrilled when she agreed to create a custom invite for Hudson’s party. The invite became the focal point of what I would base the entire design of the party after.
She works predominately with weddings so she doesn’t get to design with a color palette like white + black + red a lot. It’s amazing what you can do when you break out of the norm!
Btw, these fun cookies you’ve been eyeing throughout? Sugar Sugar Ottawa was behind ‘em all!
Be sure to check out everyone involved in this London birthday bash below!
