By time you scroll through all these photos En Route Photography took at Sophie’s first communion celebration, you’ll find yourself thinking, who knew a circus theme could be so pretty and elegant? Sophie Kors Weddings did a fantastic job of executing such a fun theme in a romantic way. And did we mention it all took place in Barcelona? Jelly.

The decorations were inspired by a circus theme but it was softened and made more feminine with pastel and rose accents. The theme carried through the center of the tables, the name tags (which were handcrafted by Sophie’s mom and grandma) and was accentuated by a clown’s nose, which added a fun element to the party! 

Lunch began with a standing aperitif and continued with guests’ choice of foie, pasta and sushi bars.

Yum!

After lunch it was time to celebrate with live music and a popcorn bar. Our kinda party.
