Before we head out to put the finishing touches on our Thanksgiving preparations, we wanted to leave you with this uber inspiring and fall-esque baby shower by photographer + mama Michele Beckwith, who just so happens to be due with baby boy tomorrow!

Michele says, Even though we already have a little girl, Sophie who will be two in January, we still wanted to celebrate his upcoming arrival with our closest family and friends. I suffered a miscarriage earlier in the year, therefore this little boy and a so far healthy pregnancy meant so much to us and deserved to be recognized and celebrated.

Michele + her friend headed over to the SF flower mart for fall branches, roses, and pomegranates to incorporate into the arrangements. So autumn-y!

…And it totally paid off, obviously!

We also went to local farm stands and bought over 100lbs of pumpkins! I love that since the shower the branches and pumpkins are still in place, serving as perfect backdrop for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. For dessert we whipped up a pumpkin spice loaf cake recipe and frosted it with homemade cream cheese frosting. The guests devoured the seasonal cake! Our soon to be bambino and little family is definitely something to be thankful for!
