Thanksgiving kids table with MINTED
Anyone else kind of blown away that we’re already talking about Thanksgiving this year?! Luckily it’s one of our favorite holidays so we’re not super sad about it. We partnered with our friends at Minted to share this cute idea for a modern rustic kids table using Minted’s home decor and paper goods. They really have so much good stuff over there!
Their new online invitations are the perfect way to add a little extra style to your “we’re having Thanksgiving dinner at our house” email this year.
We chose these cute retro acorn placemats for the kiddos, paired with trompe l’oeil napkins, and sweet little place cards. Naturally had to fill the table with tiny squashes and such. Plus a kraft paper “table cloth” is a no brainer for those of us who have trouble keeping food on our plates.
Love their fall garlands mixed with fresh olive tree sprigs.
And a kids table just isn’t complete without something sweet! We hollowed out mini pumpkins to make festive ice cream bowls, and used the little flags from this collection to decorate their spoons.
Sweet ice cream + salty pumpkin seeds… can’t go wrong!
And their new color-in thank you notes are a perfect activity to keep little hands busy while the grown-ups enjoy a leisurely meal.
We’re totally inspired to create a real kids table this year for our own Thanksgiving dinners. Hope you are too.
