Gem-inspired girl’s 1st birthday
Piiiiiink! And ghost chairs! And wait till you get the close up of that dessert table back there. Basically, this whole gem-themed party that Beijos Events and Heather Kincaid sent our way was filled to the brim with vibrant colors and jewel tones, especially since September in LA, when they threw the party, still feels like summer. Always a fun of a colorful theme!
Voila! Toldja the desserts were cute… We went with gem theme as Aveline’s middle name is Jemma and that sparked some wordplay inspiration for her 1st birthday party… Jacquelyn from Beijos Events came up with the most amazing details for the theme that made the party felt really special and personal. We are lovers of details! We asked our friend Sarah from Sarie Cake to create these pretty watercolor cakes and super cute gem shape cookies. Aveline loves to eat and she sure did not disappoint as she ate half of her smash cake in under a minute!
This birthday table just looks soooo fun.
And MV Florals worked magic on that anemone + eucalyptus centerpiece. Heart eyes!
They wanted to make sure there was plenty of space for both the littles + grownups to hang so they created a play area with toys and a ball pit, plus lots of cozy seating.
