Happy Thursday, mamas! This daily dose of fun is brought to you by photog + stylist Ally Burnette, who whipped up this modern tropical baby shower with the mama-to-be’s sister Katie at Wayfare in Orange County. The goal was to marry tropical vibes with a pretty garden party feel.

Ally says, The rich greens of the tropical leaves acted as a table runner, which made a stark contrast against the clean and bright white of the tables. The drama of an untamed jungle was in full effect. However, the femininity of the pretty garden flowers of differing shades of pink and peach contained this jungle and brought a lovely balance to the party.
They had yummy butter + salt and huckleberry donuts from the ever-delish Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee. SoCal friends, have you tried them yet? Meat and Vegetable Trading Co. also cooked up brown sugar pop tarts, jalapeno bacon deviled eggs, cheese and grape platters, tea sandwiches, and Swedish meatball skewers… Yum!
