Baby shower tea party
Does anyone else get a little too excited upon seeing a macaron and floral topped cake? It’s just the bestest. And perfectly fitting for this tea party baby shower Katie of Laura Catherine Photography + Signora e Mare put on with her sister-in-law Chelsea for their cousin Carley.
Totally into this sweet TEA scene! Chelsea was behind all the food, including chocolate covered strawberries, chicken salad, toasted French bread with goat cheese… *cue stomach grumble*
Besides the cake from Kristina Limoges (a chai spice layer cake filled with raspberry + rhubarb), the gals created a donut tower adorned with blooms.
Katie says, All the signs were hand painted in various watercolor hues and accented with gold paint and gold calligraphy. I hand wrapped all the favors in flower shapes from pale grey tissue paper that were secured with vintage silk ribbon. We also created a photo backdrop wall from Celebration Crinkle Fans I found on BHLDN and some cheese cloth. Chelsea also purchased these beautiful gold balloons in the baby’s initials, which incidentally spell out TEA or EAT (however you’d prefer it!) for Tatum Evelyn Anderson. There was also a block station where guests could write their hopes for Baby Tatum on little wooden blocks so she could treasure as she got older.
Now that’s how you throw a tea party! Best wishes to Carley + baby Tatum.
