Black, white, and pink gender reveal party
You know how much we love surprises ’round these parts, yes? And babies and families and alllll the special moments? Well then you can see how a party to reveal the biggest surprise of all, the sex of the baby, is right up our alley. Champagne & Ink had worked with parents-to-be Jen + John on their wedding day, so they knew exactly how to go all out for these two, and Molly Lo caught all the fun on camera.
Peonies, yes, please!
Word on the street is that it took J + J nearly five minutes to muster up the courage to pull this string!
We got a few deets from Danielle + Ellen of Champagne & Ink too…
Jen + John and have a fierce personal style, one they coined for their wedding “Chanautical”: a mix of the classic timeless designs of Chanel mixed with the nautical flair of Newport. For their reveal, they wanted it to be fun, true to them, and of course have a big yay! factor. We chose the gorgeous blank slate of the Island House Loft at Belle Mer for the balloon drop and had a mini-lounge area hidden downstairs for them to bask in everything girl. We incorporated hints from their wedding, and visuals that would be meaningful to them. They were married on National Donut Day and have a slight obsession with donuts, so we included those as treats for their lounge, as well as a sparkling pink lemonade, our version of a ‘Pregatini’. We dotted the lounge with baby books, including one of John’s favorites, Where the Sidewalk Ends.
When they did pull the ripcord, the bag tore open, and they were showered with all this goodness.
The aforementioned donuts… Not a party without ‘em.
And time for a few portraits…
Congrats you two!
