Rainbow birthday party + DIY cloud piñata
If the birthday girl requests rainbows for her birthday, then rainbows it is! Shannon + Eric of kids’ organic bedding line Natti Natti (check them out!) went allll out—we mean kaleidoscope favors and rainbow bagels all out—with this most fun theme. Plus, we’ve got the DIY for their super cute cloud piñata below too:
Shannon says, Immediately I knew I wanted to create a giant rainbow arch in our backyard! We wanted to make the arch from one side of the fence to the other to create a large rainbow overhead and a fun magical spot underneath for the kids to play. We started with long pieces of bamboo from our local hardware store and used pipe connectors to make the arch. This was bendable and easy to work with. We used the Everything Balloon Bundle from Oh Happy Day for balloons in all colors of the rainbow! We blew up the balloons and tied three together and then wrapped them around the bamboo. We started in the middle with green and worked our way out on both sides ending with white at both ends for the clouds.
Once you start brainstorming, rainbows are everywhere…
They had a temporary tattoo station and a sand art table (cue nostalgia!). See where they got all the materials in the credits.
This! So cute. DIY how-to below.
Emma requested those sleepy eyes on the clouds. ADORBS!
Be sure to let us know if you make one of these cool piñatas yourself.
