Hiiiii gorgeous mama-to-be! Always love when a baby shower comes complete with a few glowing portraits like these from Smith House Photography. Houston talents Plan Our Day were behind this celebration for Emprint Calligraphy Co. (who dreamt up the calligraphy loveliness on the invites you’ll see below), which was actually an intimate lunch before the big bash with all her friends.

A few words from the team at Plan Our Day, With the Momma-to-be flying in from out of state to celebrate the first baby of the generation, her sister wanted to plan an intimate lunch (prior to her baby shower in the evening with all of her Houston friends) with just the women who have started the legacy of their family. We LOVED this idea of having a special time on her shower day with the most important women in her life. 

The cake from Get Caked TX mimics the stripes in babe’s nursery design.
