Don’t you love when things turn out way, way, better than imagined? Jen is from LA so she’d always envisioned sand and sun for maternity photos. But being pregnant in Toronto (where hubs is from), they decided to go all out for winter. Can’t imagine this session from Kate Hood any other way!

Although it’s been a pretty mild winter, we were able to capture a little essence of a winter wonderland in a beautiful pine forest and frozen lake that my talented photographer Kate Hood scouted out in Barrie, Canada, an hour outside of Toronto.
