Blush floral baby shower
There are so many pretty details in this floral baby shower from Sweet Root Village that could really inspire a multitude of spring celebrations. Co-founder Rachel designed the shower to coordinate with the blush + white nursery that her friend Rachel had chosen for her new girl’s nursery. Lots of flowers and bites and gorgeous sweets made appearances.
Rachel of Sweet Root Village says, We also got to feature trays of pretty little almond cakelets from Buttercream Bakeshop that we bedazzled with all sorts of delicate blush and white blooms and vines as well as white to pink ombre macarons with gold detailing. Drinks included the simplest punch recipe (raspberry sherbet and lemon-lime soda) for a fizzy cloud of a pink drink. Though it had a special twist: the mommy-to-be made the sherbet from scratch! It was really a dream. There was also plenty of pink ice to keep things chilly!
Pink drinks are a must!
The mama-to-be made these cute little sugar scrubs as gifts.
Some other fun elements we included were dip dyed macrame tassels strung behind the food table and piles of pink, grey, and white paper diamonds. It was so much fun collaborating together to make all sorts of yummy food and pretty displays to celebrate the beautiful little life that is soon to join us!
Need one of those mini cakes! Congratulations Rachel Ko!
