Last year Ezra’s mama went all out for his Little Explorer 2nd birthday party, which naturally we weren’t sad about! But this year she wanted to host a party that was totally manageable, totally cute, and totally fun for everyone. Her Outdoor Adventure theme, which was nicely supported by their Montana home, just feels so full of the slowness of summer.

Bison dogs, a mud cake, and old fashioned fun (see fishing hole, swimming pool, and finger painting!) made for a pretty ideal evening on the ranch.
