Sarah Sherman Samuel’s baby shower
Sooooo excited to share this shower for our dear friend Sarah with you all today! It was such a fun and beautiful event to plan and there’s nothing better than getting a bunch of lovely ladies together to celebrate the arrival of a new little person and his mama. Take a peek at all the photos below by Jessie Webster…
The feeling of the shower was wintery whites, metallics, and natural wood. Perfect for a party at the start of January.
So many of Sarah’s friends came together to contribute to the planning and execution of her shower. From the drinks to the eats to the decor, they had it covered. It was a really lovely, collaborative effort, hosted by her good friends Amanda, Audrey and Lauren.
Even the presents matched!
Sarah’s dad made those beautiful wooden blocks for Baby Samuel’s room, and the pretty florals sprinkled throughout the party were designed by Kristina.
How cute is Sarah’s dress? It’s on sale at Asos.com right now.
Amanda’s new kitchen matched the theme of the shower pretty perfectly!
A yummy pear-thyme prosecco cocktail for those on the sauce, and something milder for the mamas and non-drinkers in our group.
Catherine‘s nails never disappoint!
Friends Julie and Anne made an AH-mazing spread for the lunch buffet. Seconds and thirds were had for sure.
Those studio pottery-style serving bowls and gorgeous table are both from CB2, and lovely dinnerware rentals from Borrowed Blu.
Doesn’t lunch look soooo delicious? Good to have a few chefs in your mix of friends!
Super sweet photos of Sarah and her husband Rupert as kiddos, of course.
Lauren made the little garland and wool felt animals for the shower and Baby Samuel’s room. So cute!
And Sarah’s dad made the wooden animals to match the blocks. What a treasure for years to come.
The most perfect, simple dessert table! That cake by Sheila Mae was a stunner.
Guests were asked to paint a few of the blocks made by Sarah’s dad, using different shades of metallic paint.
Rupert arrived at the end of the shower for a cute quiz game and opening of gifts. (Loving that Ferm Living arrow banner in the background!)
Thanks to all the lovely ladies who helped with the planning, the execution, and the celebrating of Sarah’s shower. And thanks to Sarah and her baby boy for giving us a reason to plan a pretty party!

I'd love to know what kind of metallic paint was used on the baby blocks.
