These three have the best smiles around, and according to the beautiful and talented mama, Alexis Andra, owner of The Shift Creative, they’re also sometimes messy, most of the time late, and a little weird. But they share a lot of love, and these photos, captured by To Wander and Seek in sunny SoCal, emulate that.

They took their Christmas photos in the orange groves for a more nontraditional vibe, but stayed true to the Christmas spirit by adding fur, DIY paper trees (Check out her site! She’s got so many awesome DIY’s!), and pinecones to act as a backdrop for little, 15 month old Sophie.

And that’s how you nail a family portrait! Such a fun sesh, with a really beautiful family.
