The thing we love most about how Mercie Ghimire decorated her daughter’s room, aside from how beautifully she captured it, is how she described the inspiration behind it; saying, We wanted the room to reflect who she is: a free spirit who loves imaginative play and exploring her environment. That’s why it’s not overflowing with toys or bold walls, but rather with pieces that hold a personal significance to them as a family.

We decided before Harper was born that we would foster her creativity and imagination while teaching her to value what she had, by not filling her room (or life) with toys. Her puzzles, trains, play food & cookware, and instruments are organized and easily accessible.
