Morgan of Ampersand Design Studio (also one of our daily blog reads), recently welcomed baby boy #2. Amidst the beautiful chaos that we’ve all heard happens with the arrival of your second, Morgan admits that they’re having a blast witnessing the instant bond that has happened between her boys. You’ll see exactly what she’s talking about in these sweet moments captured by Allison Corrin Photography.

Our older son, Shaw, had been SO excited throughout my pregnancy to have a baby brother, but we were still a little bit nervous about how the new baby was going to affect him. My only hope was that as they grew up together, they would form a close bond. What has surprised me is that their bond was formed immediately!

From the very first meeting in the hospital, Shaw ran into the room and then very gently climbed up to meet his new little brother and just stared and him and talked about how cute and little he was. The friendship they already have has way surpassed my expectations. Shaw wants to be right by Lennon’s side every step of the way including diaper changes, tummy time and even nursing sessions. When Lennon is crying, Shaw will sing to him and hold his hand to calm him down. This is seriously the sweetest brother relationship I have ever witnessed and we are just beyond thrilled to have these two little guys in our life!

Too much, right? Love to hear how close those two brothers are. It’s going to be amazing seeing that bond get even stronger as they get older!
