@ly - There are a couple ways you can coat the blocks to protect them. Here's a list we found of a few natural ways to finish them using certain oils & waxes, or you can try this Toy Maker's Finish. Hope that helps!

Wow! What a very brilliant idea. I haven’t seen a geometric baby shower is person, but I know that this will be one of the most stunning baby showers ever. I love how you come up with this and how you decorated everything. Perfect and great job!

I have never seen the DIY block craft for a shower. Love this idea. Is there something that is done to the blocks once they are done to finish them? So they are non toxic and baby safe?Thanks for sharing!
