Backyard baby shower for Eden
This backyard baby shower comes as a sweet surprise. The (then) mama-to-be and editor/resident crafter for LaurenConrad.com, Ilana Saul gave birth to Eden over the holiday weekend. While she is currently swooning over her new tiny bundle, we’re just going to admire her adorbs fête, captured by Stephanie Todaro Photography. We think you’re especially going to love her baby shower activities!
How sweet are these folded books? Ilana’s husband, Mark made them! You should see the ones he made for their wedding, which was also featured on our wedding blog. (P.S. He sells them on Etsy, too).
Each guest brought a baby photo that Ilana had to match with the correct guest.
Ok, this is just the sweetest baby shower activity ever. Before the party, Ilana picked out 27 different birthday cards (one for each guest) then labeled each envelope with an age, 1-27. Each guest got one at random and had to write the baby a card with their advice, or any cute little message for her to read for that year when she opens it.
A DIY onesie station is always a hit!
Welcome to motherhood, Ilana! Little Eden is just as precious as can be.
