Ok so, there have been numerous times when we’ve highly advised being in photos with your kids. They’re great to have for the memories, but but but, photos of your kids solo can be pretty amazing too. Case and point, these portraits of Melinda Brown’s (aka Wild Scout Photography) daughter Arrow, second oldest of five.

These photos are from our recent family mountain vacation. She and I made the crown and that’s one of her personal favorite vintage dresses. We’d been walking a trail to our favorite mountain and decided to stop and take a few photos along the way.

Stunning, really. Love a gal that’s not afraid to run around the forest sans shoes, and in a dress!
