Oh, the ol’ pickles and ice cream preggo craving. Did any of you have it? It’s an odd pairing, but it makes for a playful baby shower idea, no? Ideal Events & Design had the idea to style such an theme after eating ice cream at at her local Furniture City Creamery and realizing that Michigan is home to amazing pickle producer – McClure’s Pickles. Interested to see how it turned out? It’s pretty adorbs.

If you have ways to keep things cold, an ice cream float bar, complete with vintage style soda bottles like the one they set up is perfect for any summer party.

Jars of relish served as the perfect favors to send home with guests.

We love that they held the party in the back courtyard of the creamery. Such a cute idea! It’s worth asking some of your favorite places if you can rent out some of their outside space for a little party too.
