DIY Bagel bar party ideas
Chances are you have all of these ingredients at home right now, yes? We did, so we put our own little spin on the popular donut bar. Of course we love donuts, but we wanted to think of a unique breakfast party idea that would be easy enough to throw together for a small and intimate gathering of close family & friends, or a larger birthday bash.
Cream cheese can come in all kinds of flavors, but we love the basic cream cheese flavor and added drops of food coloring to create the color of our choice! Kids will love it!
A variety of toppings are a must!
Layer your bagel slices to make a super fun layered “cake”. We found this cute cake topper by Alexis Mattox Design at Urbanic Paper Boutique.
Another kid favorite? Smoothies! Tip: To save some time buy the prepackaged frozen fruit bags. Throw them in a blender with a few spoonfuls of vanilla yogurt & water, and viola! Super easy smoothies to pair with your bagels.
The genius idea of placing the bagel, donut, or cookie on top of your drink makes it easy for little hands to multitask. Coloring, drawing, or watching cartoons while having one of these in your hands is the best.
Ok, you don’t necessarily need to host a party to make this bagel bar happen, you could even bring it all out for a Friday morning surprise. Especially if the behavior was mighty excellent all week!
Happy tasting!
