This post is just the sweetest. Should you want to forego giving dad a gift that he may not really need, this is the next best thing. We genuinely believe he’d love one of these 3 ideas more! All three Beijos Events mamas + their littles planned a special day tailored to their men. A few of their favorite photographers, Megan Welker and Cassie Green, were on hand to capture their dates so that we could all get inspired to set something up for the dads in our lives.

From mama, Jacquelyn:

My husband Nate is a very new dad, our baby Court will just be 2 months old this Father’s Day, which makes this one all the more special! Nate loves the ocean and is an avid surfer, as a family we go on walks from our house to the beach multiple times a week, it’s one of our favorite places to be together. I wanted to plan a picnic at one of our favorite spots in Corona Del Mar overlooking the beach and have some down time with just the 3 of us. It was the perfect spot as the beach holds a special place in our family and I know it always will. I’m sure before I know it Court and Nate will be out there surfing together, but for now a picnic will have to do!

Mike would not want to be anywhere else but spending quality time with his family, so for him we did a quiet brunch away from the distractions of life in our own backyard. We celebrated with just us four and our new addition, our kitten Hendrix! Our family loves being outside in our backyard, it’s where we play, eat and really enjoy the little moments together. For brunch we made Mike’s favorite drink, bloody marys and had some yummy nibbles to share, and the day wouldn’t be complete without the kids surprising Mike with their special chalk messages they leave for him in our yard.

One of Damon’s favorite things to do with Edie is watch baseball games, especially his favorite Anaheim Angels. So for Father’s day Edie took him to a game! We made it a little party, just for our little family. It was a perfect evening of tailgating fun! Edie loves throwing the ball with her Daddy and cheering for her and Daddy’s favorite team, she even has a home run dance and cheer he taught her. There’s nothing better than seeing these two together and having so much fun, I’m so happy we got to capture it!
