This stunning baby shower celebrates a mama whose journey hasn’t been the smoothest just yet. Lauryl‘s beautiful twin girls were diagnosed with a rare condition found only in identical twins called Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, very early in her pregnancy. She underwent surgery while pregnant and then gave birth to her tiny girls at just 31 weeks. You mothers of premies can probably relate to everything that Lauryl has been through since her daughters arrived.

Luckily she has extremely thoughtful and talented friends who hosted this amazing party in her honor. The girls were both born in the Year of the Horse, and Lauryl is a florist who loves the English countryside, tea, crumpets, and the like. Totally digging the modern equestrian vibe! Perfect inspiration for a spring event, don’t you think?

The place-settings each included a custom-designed card from Mae Mae Paperie that read:
