When you first have a bebe it’s fun to look forward to taking those month by month baby photos. But after the first year you’ve got to wait an entire year to have another photo session. Little Joel recently turned 3 and his mama wanted Jesslan Lee Photography to capture him in his element: undies, a cape and mask, rain boots on the wrong feet… you know… the usual getup a 3 year old boy wears around the house. There was no posing or directing for this shoot either, but then again, a superhero that’s hard at work can almost always make the best of any situation, no?

These photos are going to make a REALLY great #TBT for Joel someday, don’t you think?

It was just pure joy getting to capture a sweet little boy and the pureness of his imagination. We couldn’t agree with Jesslan more. So fun, right? And such a perfect note to start off the week!
