Playing with food for kids by Samantha Lee
That old saying that you remember hearing as a kid, and have maybe even uttered yourself, “Don’t play with your food!”, might work for some kids but for food artist, Samantha Lee, it’s gone and made her the envy of all kids not allowed to play with their food.
Her food art isn’t all pancakes and peanut butter. And she doesn’t just favor breakfast foods over savory plates. She goes all out- sketching each creation before cooking and plating it for her two young daughters, aka luckiest girls ever.
Can’t even handle the cuteness. She puts us all to shame, doesn’t she?
We mean, how fun would it be to gobble up a crepe shaped like the Arc de Triomphe?
Ok, some of these look pretty time consuming, we know. But think of how fun some of these plates would be to make. PLUS we’re pretty sure your kids will think you’re the coolest around when you let them slurp up ramen noodles in the shape of a sheep! Recipe here.
Fun, right? Oh, the things we come across on the internet…

These are ridiculously cute! I feel like I've been cheating my little girl by simply taking a cookie cutter to her turkey sandwich.
