The ultimate princess party from Minted & Vintage
Mkay, this is a little bit of a leap for us here at Cakelet. We have three boys and two girls, but the girls are still babies and not in the princess phase yet. So you know, we aren’t really immersed in the world of Princess. BUT we know plenty of you are and if we were ever going to show a princess party, mamas, this would be there one. It’s literally the ULTIMATE.
Which shouldn’t come as a surprise, since Abby’s mama is the owner of Minted & Vintage here in LA. The details pretty much speak for themselves, most of them DIY-ed by Aracely, so if you’re planning something like this for your little princess, pin away! She made the royal table runners, tissue paper fringe banners, gold mylar fringe piƱata, and loads more cute decor.
Abby wanted a Sleeping Beauty themed party, and since Princess Aurora is one of the “vintage” Disney Princesses that her mama connected to from her own childhood, she was even more inspired to make the party spectacular.
Araceley made that cute crown pillow using our DIY tutorial from Bramble Workshop. So exciting when we see the projects from our blog come to life in new ways!
The dessert table was a highlight for everyone. Aracely used pieces from her collection of Minted and Vintage cake stands, cake plates, and compotes in pink, aqua, and glittery gold. She really wanted the dessert table to feel like being in Disneyland and walking up to the Sleeping Beauty castle, so I recreated the castle banners in coordinating colors and put one at each end of the table
Off the charts!
Of course they had to have a surprise guest! Princess Aurora herself. She sat in the little vintage lounge area and was able to paint faces, read books, and sing to all the little princess guests there. It was their little hangout filled with princess goodies all within their reach.
So super sweet. Abby is going to look back at these photos and be amazed at the love and effort that went into her 3rd birthday. And then demand the most spectacular wedding she can imagine. Sorry, Aracely.
Happy birthday, little princess!
