Rustic pink baby shower for Beth
We’re seeing a pattern with the parties we’ve shared this week. Event designers really do host, plan and execute the prettiest celebrations. Kelly Anne Moore, an event stylist based out of San Francisco, poured her heart into throwing a baby shower for her sister in law, Beth just a few weeks ago. It was such a loving endeavor from family and friends, we feel honored just sharing it with you!
The shower was a celebration of new life, becoming a new mom and celebrating the mom-to be’s mother, who is recovering from a brave and successful fight from breast cancer. And since it was breast cancer awareness month, she wanted to celebrate the bond between a mother and daughter as 3 generations with a pink color palette, of course!
That cute garland is made of dip dyed coffee filters. We’ve also seen one done using cupcake liners, too!
It’s always fun for guests to have a few activities to do at a baby shower, and we’re especially fond of the “Potting Station” Kelly created.
I created a potting station as a tribute to Beth’s mother, Kathy that featured small muslin bags filled with tulip bulbs signifying the planting and beginning of new life with the words “pink” printed on the front and a personal message printed on the back that stated ” Think Pink, Think Hope, Think New beginnings.”
Each place setting had a dip dyed napkin with wood utensils tucked inside and a “who did it” quiz that asked guests to guess which childhood story belonged to either Beth or her husband, Garrett.
What a beautiful way to celebrate the new life of a sweet baby girl, a woman’s journey into motherhood and a first time grandmother who overcame breast cancer.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Kelly!
